SICK DAY THERAPY

We all get sick and what do we want to do most? Sit in our nice warm bed and sleep until we can wake up feeling better but as we all know... sleeping the day away means for a restless night! Here's what my nightstand looks like when I'm sick(right now). Current book I'm reading-State of Wonder by Ann Patchett, Vaseline(lifesaver for a running nose), box of Kleenex, water from my favorite cup and my laptop to watch netflix! The best thing to make a girl feel better is pampering herself! I always enjoying taking a nice warm bubble bath with any of the Lush bath bombs or painting my nails. Whatever you do... Let yourself relax and don't stress about what being sick is holding you back from and just remember that you'll be better before you know it! I know this wasn't exactly my best post but I've been feeling alittle under weather lately and haven't been able to post anything else! Will try to do a Valentines Day outfit idea and outfits of the week soon!!

Until next time!

BEJEWELED BY C. WONDER

Beyond happy with my purchases from C Wonder. Yesterday my friends and I decided to go on a road trip to go to some of our favorite stores. This was my first time being able to go into a C. Wonder store. If you ever get the opportunity I highly suggest you take a look inside! It's on the pricey side but they were having a huge 50% sale! There clothes are worth the price because the quality is amazing! Just make sure the clothes you purchase from there are versatile and fit you right as with all other expensive brands. This January, C. Wonder definitely charmed it's way into my closet!

SMALL ACCENTS

Nightstands can make a room and are necessities! Whether it's your favorite book, cup of water or your phone(if your like me) you need somewhere to rest it before you fall asleep. Waking up and stepping in a cup of water does not start the day off right! I like to keep things on my night stand that brighten my day since that is the first thing I see in the morning. A vase full of bright and fresh flowers, a picture of my beloved mother and I, & last one of my favorite fairy tale books.
Not only are nightstands good for decorating but also for storing! I Enjoy storing my prettiest perfumes in a golden antique tray my mother gave me. Perfumes bottles are the best decor! Aswell as being useful that they are already out and easily seen but there is no fear of them falling or breaking under a sink... it's a perfect fix!
Moving on to my desk. One of the places I spend most of my time because I am still a full time student. Which just means I like to keep my desk chic yet clean and accessible.
Coordinating throughout the room is key. The look of things being the same throughout makes it look very thought out. I used a wine bottle as a vase on my desk to mix things up but I keep the same color scheme of flowers as the ones from my nightstand. To give a more antique look to my desk I added this rustic lamp from home goods and a picture of my dad and I in a basic picture frame from target.
My panorama skills still need some work but this was the best I could do to get a a picture of the first & second shelves above my desk where I like to store books, jewelry, candles, and of course more pictures! I promise to be posting more this year! Have a good day lovelies!

ANTIQUE SHOPPING

I promise I will post more from now on! I had to share with you my new found treasures!
The first thing I picked up was this gold ring for only 23 dollars! What a nice find!!
I also picked up a book called Anderson Fairy Tales! The last thing I pick up was a gold and navy band! Thirfting takes up time to look through but could very well be worth the time! And the little amount if money! Hope everyone had amazing holidays and a great new year!!
